Me and my home are featured on
one of my favourite blogs today,
Kerry’s The Seventy Tree.
After two and a bit years of intense diy,
our dusty old place is pretty much done.
I’ve been taking a few snaps recently so I’m
hoping to do a few before & after posts soon.
(For those of you new to this blog,
the before pictures were quite something!)
In the meantime, if you fancy seeing a mini home tour
pop on over to The Seventy Tree.
Kerry has such a lovely, lovely blog – I promise it’ll end up
being one of your favourites too if it’s not already.
P.S. If you missed it, I was also interviewed by Huma
of Her Little Place for The Independent the other week.
Just in case you fancy some more of me talking interior design!
Beautiful! So light and immaculate taste. I love your upholstery jobs. And well done on all the appearances of late!
Oh I have serious flat envy…!
Seriously want your flat. I love the colour of the floor – it is so elegant.
I love Kerry’s blog too, and your home looks fantastic! Definitely worth all of the hard work. I am very jealous! 😉 x
Lovely interiors, but more importantly…Llama top??? I must have one, where did you find it?
Hi Laura. The llama top is from Imago Drift… http://www.etsy.com/people/ImagoDRIFT Her stuff is really fab 🙂
Oh, the chair and the rug are both amazing – what’s the rug made out of? Also, do you colour code your bookcase?! (If so, that’s amazing!) 🙂
Claire Marie x
Hi Claire Marie. The rug is made from three smaller mats (which are made of felt balls). You can read about the ‘making’ of it here: http://conversationpieces.co.uk/2010/07/16/friday-im-in-love-with-our-crafty-felt-rug/
And yes I do colour-code my books… the writer in me feels guilty about it but it does look better!
Your home is lovely. So fresh and bright.

You know, there are so many lovely things about your flat, and all I can think is ‘Zoe has a new telly table’.
It’s looking good, nice to see your fire place print and your globes (hahaha, that sounds crude) in their rightful home 🙂
your home is absolutely gorgeous!
the pops of colour everywhere is lovely.
Hello!! I’ve just popped over from Kerry’s.. I couldn’t resist a proper nose around your gorgeous apartment! I love the yellow stems paper, jelous in fact. I have a sample of it tacked to my bedroom wall and I pine for it. Sadly it’s out of our price range at the moment, but I might frame the little square I do have!! I’ve been a fan of Kerry’s for ages now, I won one of her prints too – Mr Fox. Lou x
Hi Lou. My trick is to do only do small walls with wallpaper – the one with the yellow paper actually has two doors in it so we only needed 2 rolls of paper and then I sold the leftover on ebay so it worked out quite cheap in the end! Just a thought for you 🙂
i love your home, i dream of having a place like this! i love that it is so fresh and colourful without being silly
x.
